TOKYO - Classroom Adventure, an educational technology startup developing innovative learning programs, today met with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike following their Grand Prize victory at Tokyo Startup Gateway (TSG) 2024, the prestigious startup competition organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
During the courtesy visit, the Classroom Adventure team presented their latest educational program "Ray's Disappearance" (レイの失踪), an innovative gaming solution designed to combat the growing social issue of "yami baito" (criminal recruitment schemes targeting youth through social media). The program allows students to safely experience and understand the tactics used by criminal organizations to recruit individuals for illegal activities through social media platforms.
Governor Koike received a detailed presentation about the program's educational approach and its potential impact on preventing youth involvement in criminal activities. The meeting highlighted the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's commitment to supporting innovative solutions to social challenges through programs like TSG.
Moving forward, Classroom Adventure will continue to strengthen its partnerships with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and other local governments nationwide to expand the reach of their educational programs.
